Debt is stressful. Debt can be life changing. Debt can be overwhelming. Debt can also be eliminated.
Debt is never necessary if you have savings. Now I know you might sound arrogant or misleading, but it is true. Many of us have relied on debt to buy necessities like cars, homes, or pay for college. But if you remember not long ago, our parents purchased their cars in cash, save to buy their homes, and worked their way through college without student loans. They anticipated their expenses or desires and saved to pay for them. In 2008 and 2009 due to the recession, many of us who relied on the credit cards, car loans, students loans, and mortgages were left with nothing when we lost our jobs or the economy took a downturn leaving us at the mercy of creditors who pushed increasing interest rates on our debt.
With debt you are powerless to downturns in the economy, your employer, your career, and financial stability.
Regain your power and take the power back from your creditors.
